Rich and expressive, Il Carbonaione combines dark cherry, blackberry and plum with floral nuances, sweet spice, cocoa and subtle earthy character. The palate is powerful yet elegant, with vibrant freshness, refined tannins and a long, persistent finish.
Aged for 14 months in oak tonneaux, this is a sophisticated and age-worthy expression of Sangiovese from one of Tuscany's distinctive high-elevation vineyard sites.
